- PM session (9-12 year olds): 9:45 am arrive, 10:00 am warmups
Goal Setting
This week in our goal setting series, our swimmers did a self-assessment about their season and how they are doing so far in how they practice, how they compete, and other aspects like being a good teammate and their practice attendance. Here is a copy if you’d like to talk with them about it!
Thank you all so much for the wonderful holiday coaches gifts as well. We appreciate the love! Thanks for trusting us with your swimmers, we love being a part of their journey in swimming.

T1/T2 Resources
Building Entrances
Please note that the practice locations (usually Brookfield East and Brookfield Central) have more specific entrance expectations than in the past.
- Brookfield East: Enter always by the W2 fieldhouse doors.
- Brookfield Central: Enter in the main front doors (give yourself 5 extra minutes, it is a longer walk to the pool).
- Saturdays at Central: Enter through north/east entrances by the Fieldhouse from the north side of the building.
Practice Information
Please make sure your athlete is ready each practice on time with the required equipment (find the list in the T1/T2 expectations page).
When you see a “w” listed on the practice schedule, that lets you know that we will be doing dryland exercises that day and your swimmer should be wearing sneakers.
Parents at Practice
As a reminder, parents are not allowed on the deck or in locker rooms at any time during practice. We will make sure the balcony is open if you would like to stay and observe practice. Please refrain from coaching, communicating with swimmers, or video recording during practice - we want to swimmers to stay connected and attentive during practice, rather than distracted.
Meet Information
Meet events for the meets you commit to are entered by the coaches usually a few weeks in advance of the meet. You can see what they are by going to the event page on the app/website, and looking at your commitment for that meet. After the meet entries are sent in to the host club, I cannot make edits to events, so please verify your swimmer’s events early and let me know if you see an issue.
If you have questions on what to expect for your swimmer's first meet and how to prepare, read this document, Swim Meets 101.
